Sasha's Dance

Sasha is still thinking about being a dancer like Kaylah... she doesn't quite have the grace concept down- I'm thinking from this performance that maybe we should try to steer her towards gymnastics instead! :)

Remember how Kaylah was soooo focused at this age? I'm sure Sasha would have been too- if it weren't for the shoes 2 sizes too big. Or the leotard creeping up too high. Or the stuffed animal I was sitting on.

Sasha makes me smile. :)

Sasha Cinderella

The playhouse becomes Cinderella's home when Sasha enters. (To the frustration of Kaylah & Joshua because ALL she wants to do is sweep and they have trouble playing around her.) This time, Sasha got the house to herself and even though the words of her song are a little tricky to discern, she's singing about her step-sisters, cleaning and the prince... there's even a "bibbity bobbity boo" in there! :)

Vacation Bible School

Soooo.... I took videos of both of Kaylah's songs at the VBS closing program AND both of Joshua's songs. A tad bit long, but not as long as the whole show (aren't you lucky I only have a digital camera!) I was up on the stage with my preschoolers, so didn't get any pictures or videos of Sasha. Maybe she will do an encore performance for me tomorrow, but it was too late tonight when we got home! All-in-all it was a good week! :)

Oh what fun it is to twirl...

Joshua, Kaylah, Sasha & Lucy were all part if the spinning at some point... I'm just happy I got my camera before they were all laying on the floor too dizzy to stand up again!

Our First Dance Recital

Yes, it's a pretty terrible video- bad lighting, tiny little Kaylah (third from your right when it starts), moving all over the place (Sasha was on my lap)... but I still think Kaylah is absolutely adorable! :)
